Are JWs the worst restaurant customers?
by Alfred in(a little background info before i ask my question...).
my sister-in-law (non-jw), who manages a popular chain restaurant near a kingdom hall, just found out that my wife and i have recently faded, so she decided to get something off her chest the other day... you guessed it: she wanted us to know that jws are the worst customers ever!
she then told us some really embarrassing stories about how jws would request a table for 15 to 20 people (after a sunday meeting) and then (when the bill came) some of the jws would start deliberating amongst themselves on whether or not the waiter was diligent or not (to justify the low tip he was getting anyway).

Anthony Morris III... Did he really serve in Vietnam? Something doesn't quite add up...
by Calebs Airplane inborn in 1950, he apparently became a regular pioneer in 1971.. but wait.... let's just say that he enlisted (or was drafted) in 1968 at age 18.... depending on the branch of service, he would have to complete anywhere from 2 to 4 years of service.
yes, duty in hot combat zones was usually limited to 6-months at a time but you still had to serve a total of 2 to 4 years depending on the branch of service.
assuming he only served 2 years, he would have been 20 years old and discharged by 1970.... how did he get witnessed to, complete a book study, become an unbaptized publisher, get baptized and then become a regular pioneer in less than year???.

hence the new world translation of the holy scriptures.. on the other hand, the color grey in high-ranking freemasonry is said to simbolize a 7-year period of tribulation and turmoil.. given the masonic origins of the watchtower bible & tract society, it's quite possible that the worldwide masonic powers to be have already set in motion the wheels of "tribulation" which started with the government shutdown in the us and will end with a zionist objective that we are yet to see 7 years from now..

The Real Aftermath of the AGM...
by raymond frantz ini didn't go to the agm nor was i invited .i didn't go to the sunday meeting either.i received a text though from a long standing ministerial servant that echoes the sentiment in my congragation at least.he was present at the meeting.no elder was there and all parts ,watchtower and public talk were handled by ministerial servants.he was incensed that he was not invited allthough he's been a servant for many years and always volunteered at the assemblies etc.
the absense of all these elders was very noticable .most of the congragation was uninformed for the "dog & ponny show" (sorry agm) and the reason i think was that they were embarrased to admit that only they were going to go.but the most upsetting thing for many is that only the ones that went to the agm got the new bible ,the rest will have to wait till january when the first supply arrives at the congragation.
also many have found out that the instruction is that the new bible has to be used from the congragation straight away at the meetings and field service .imagine the embarrasment to be sitting next to the in crowd with their new flashy bible !.

by AndersonsInfo ini want to thank jehovah's witnesses new world bible translation committee for changing the words, "mentally diseased" as found in the 1984 edition of the nwt, to "obsessed with arguments," as found in 1 timothy 6:4 in the 2013 revised nwt.. on february 6, 2012, david splane, the overseer of the watchtower's writing department received an open letter from me which i posted below especially for new posters.
the topic of my letter was in response to the writing department's statement that ..."apostates are mentally diseased" in their july 15, 2011 watchtower.
the 1984 edition of the new world translation reads:.

That said, I wouldn't have sent them a letter about this. Why help them fix anything? The quicker the Watchtower comes crumbling down, the better the world will be.

New WT...Revised...The Name Jehovah

why i ask, because last night after the agm meeting i was thinking...would god name himself a jewish name, since he in not partial...would he name himself a name that folks could get all puffed up about & say see...god is a jew.
also, jesus, well, he came from the line of jews, not really.

QUESTION FOR LURKERS:
When you pronounce the name JEHOVAH, are you doing so because it is the most CORRECT form of pronouncing his name or are you merely following "traditions of men" because that is the POPULAR thing to do?
Before you answer, read these 3 quotes from the Watchtower magazine:
"MANY religious people treasure their own beliefs and traditions. But what happens if these teachings are not in harmony with what is found in God’s Word, the Bible? RNWT: Page 1767: About 1914
by StephaneLaliberte inin appendix b1, there is a timeline for the message of the bible.
on the second page of that appendix, there is a small section entitled "about 1914", what is this?
don't you find it odd that they use the word "about"?

This is worse than saying "on or around 1914". Adding this "ambiguity" to they're keystone date is probably their first step (of many to come) towards eventually eliminating what they already know is an indefensible doctrine.
